Birthday

11 November was my birthday. And I specially book the self-access room to visit facebook. To my surprise, more than 10 people said Happy Birthday to me and i'm really happy.

After school, I went home to change my clothes and visit McDonalds. I received a hell lot of chocolates and birthday grats. Guess how much nuggets i ate? 17!!! I force Umi and Arif to each eat one. And as I am having my last 2nd, I notice Jackson from far and asked him to help me eat one. Even Jackson give me birthday grats.

I am indeed happy that many people share the same birthday as me. The people are: Hui Min, Kok Leong, Auntie Fong Leng, Umi, Nustiara and me.

I love my birthday. Kathir(manager) and Ratna each owe me a present.

Well, gonna be bankrupt after buying so many presents for friends.

Holidays over~

Time to blog.

Well didn't really have the time to update my blog even though it was in the holidays. Now what I did in the holidays? You might want to ask me: Adeline, What did you spent on with your holidays?

And i'll say lamely: Well, nothing much. Just working in McDonalds everyday. Luckily i've got a friend company. And she's quite hardworking:)

I should say the days of my 'holidays' goes quite well and i'm really sad that my RM(Restaurant Manager were changed recently to a new manager who will be taking over Maha, our store manager for more than 5 years. We felt sad and recently, on monday, we ordered Buffet inside our McDonalds.

All our store manager came down and even Darius, who is now working in IMM McDonalds, came down to say our last goodbye to our best manager, Maha. Thank goodness our new manager weren't fierce to us at all. And indeed, quite skinny.

Now, I worked almost everyday and were able to sleep 4 to 5 hours a day.

da:ns festival Footwork for school street dance

Today I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to get ready for my street dance which will be starting at 8:30a.m. I ate a cookie and drank cocoa. Later, I then remembered that I didn't get ready for my clothings for the dance. I immediately look for clothes in my cardboard till it looks like the house has just gone through a party.

I have chosen to wear a black top which looks rock and I decided to wear black jeans. But instead, I did not find what I really wanted and instead, I wore a white jeans. To look cooler, I wore sweater without zipping and I find myself looking more cooler, but as for my white jeans, it looks odd.

I took bus number 174 opposite Peninsula plaza and immediately went down the esculator for the Esplanade. I remembered how to go there therefore I walked near the MRT Control Station. I turned when someone called my name and realised that it was Jessica, the class chairperson for OA and immediately went to her.

We proceeded to find Aileen and friends right after we notice the time was already 8:30a.m. Thank god, when we reach there, we were counted 'not very late'.

Part of our admission ticket were tore as we entered the Rehersal Studio. Surrounded were mirror-made walls. I really find the place cool.

We done alot of warm-up exercises before the actual practice. The dance was indeed difficult but fun. Before we actually entered the Studio, we took quite alot of pictures.

I went to school by bus 97. I'm the first customer to ever step up to this bus captain's bus. And the first impression was really bad. First, he was smoking. At first, I didn't really notice him smoking. But when I asked if the bus travels to Jurong East Interchange, he said yes with yellow teeth and smoke making its way out from his mouth.

I immediately make my way to the back to avoid the smoke fragrance and drop at ITE College West (Dover Campus) for a change of bus to 963 to ITE College West (Clementi campus).

I really get alot from learning this dance and even benefit from getting a 'one day free StudioWu Pass', which I can bring my class to dance for free. But in order to go there, I need to have around 25 people. For more info, visit: www.studiowu.com

Annoying teachers

I just don't understand why some teachers are simply just SO ANNOYING. They can't just keep things to themselves and were very 'K-PO'. Why must she so KPO go bother other people's family matters. Well, education is education. Family is family. Why must this teacher go psyco mine and my friend's parents reporting everything?

Not only that, her teaching skills toatlly sux to the core. Nobody bothered to listen to her when she's teaching. She loves nagging, becoming sudden crazy attitude, ask people to sweep the floor and lastly, write her an apology note.

This teacher that i'm referring to, she makes us all into trouble, giving quarrels after quarrels with my family member, and friends. especially my mum. Maybe she have not tried people complaining all about her.

I remembered one of my PE Teacher said to the whole class: Log on to the ITE Portal and write comments about our teacher. He also say that, you can write anything about your own teacher. Which is also the best time to hit your teacher.

Therefore, I log on to the ITE Portal, and followed the instructions. I suceeded in submitting this comment to the website. Hoping that this mess would be solved.

I really want to teach this teacher a good lesson. The lesson is all about not to be too busybody of other people's staff.

Misunderstanding or wad?!?!?

Sometimes I just don't understand why people can misunderstanded easily by people's words. Yesterday, me, Mastura, WenHui and Elaine was sitting at the canteen rectangular table. We was talking happily and when I jerk my head to my left, I saw Sahidah and her mother. I was thinking: perhaps Sahidah's mother fetch Sahidah to school.

The subject that I was talking to Mastura was bored. Therefore, I talked about Sahidah's mother. I said that her mother is kind and friendly. I also told Mastura that Sahidah is my Primary school best friend. Mastura then tell me that she was jealous that Sahidah's mother were so kind enough to give Sahidah pocket money even though Sahidah was fasting all the while. I reluctantly agreed, because my mother would never give me pocket money. My daily money comes from my pay. But usually I do not cash out all my pay. Once my pay was updated, I only cash out 10% of it and spend.

I really do not know who is the 'Big mouth' to go tell Sahidah that we were all the while gossipping that Sahidah's mother is old. Besides, Sahidah is my primary school best friend, how would I want to do that. If it was really me and Mastura's mistake, why would we hide?

Mastura and me were hiding behind the wall to steal a glimpse of what Sahidah and friends were trying to talk about. But instead, they mistaken us that we were afraid of them and were trying to hide from them.

I really don't know what's wrong and I deny that I tried to lie behind Sahidah. NO WAY AM I GOING TO ADMIT THAT I GOSSIP WRONG THINGS!

Can't trust most people nowadays...

"Thick skin is difficult to guess whether you're lying" Is that true? I guess so. How about this phrase: "Lie under thin skin". That will be far obvious enough to know.

Yesterday, after our lunch break together with Abi-ly, Mastura, me and Wei Jie, we went to class to get ready for the lesson. But as we went in, we notice that there were no extra tables and chairs. Therefore we went to the next class to borrow them. I knew that Abi-ly do not have the strength to carry these stuff, so I decided carry it for her. Me and Mastura went to borrow 2 tables and 2 chairs from OE and return back to class. But what amused me was, Abi-ly mystically found a set of seating area and settled down listening to music. Therefore me and Mastura assumed that she do not need another set of table and chair.

As the group of malay girls return from canteen, one of them asked why Abi-ly stole Ilyana's table. Yet Abi-ly subjects that the table were empty when she went in. But I knew things weren't that simple.

Me and Mastura went down to the locker and meantime we discussed of the incident. Mastura suspects that Tan Ching pushed the bag aside to the next table as there is supposed to have 1 bag in between 2 tables. I agreed.

Today we ignored her most of the time as she is only interested in her phone other than studies. She only talked to us when she wants to, we do not like her behavior. Even if she were to hang around with Xiu Ling, Wen Hui, Elaine and Christina, I don't think they'll be interested in talking to her.

Hmm... So tiring. Tomorrow i'll still need to visit HCA Hospice Care for attatchment as part of the CIP hours.

Flag Day on 15 August 2009

I went to Bugis Junction for my first shift 9:00am to 14:00pm. But I return the donation tin on 11:50. I went to Peninsula located near the church and start my donation. Most of the donation made were to $2.00, $0.50 & $0.20.

For the 2nd shift, I went to Jurong Point to collect my 2nd donation tin. Before I start collecting the money, I ate Chicken Rice and drank fruit drink. I hold my tin at the Boon Lay Interchange. The collection of money is quite fast and mostly donated were $1.00 and $0.50. One elderly gave $2.00 and a young guy around my age also gave $2.00, maybe because he know me as a Student Councillor.

I think its quite hard to ask people to donate money. No matter how hard you ask, they'll just shoo you away or walk away. Most people 'scanned' my donation tin from far and walked other directions: left, right and opposite but not walking towards me.

Therefore, I hold my tin, keep quiet and smile. People automatically will walk towards me and donate. Whenever my smile were about to fade, a coin drop inside my tin and encourage me to smile again. I feel happy for my donation.

I were not informed that the donation ended at 1600 instead of 1800. Thats why my sister message all my contacts and asked whether they're with me. But they're not.

What I can say was, please be more generous to donating and stop spending!

Gotta cancel out my job today...

Having my Students' Council's Chapter Meeting, i'll need to put Students' Council and cancel my job today. On 4th September 2009, i'll be going to ITE Dover for a course.

I've brought all the colour/color pencils, mahjong paper, B to 6B pencils and Sharpener. The Chapter meeting will start at 1430 and ends around at 1830. I really hope that there is an early dismissal so that I can go back home early and rest.

Finally I can get to eat everyday healthyly without skipping lunch. Or else I will be underweight forever.

Yeah!!! Self-access room can use already...

Finally i can go tag my friend's blog. Most of days I do not have the time to use the computer at home. Therefore I have no other choice but to serve the internet in school.

Yesterday, I went to a gold shop at Jurong West and pierce my ears at $10+earring. I find it quite ok therefore I went to pierce my ears. My sister eventually found out but she also wants to pierce her ears. We plan to meet at 16:00pm at the wooden bench near the B6 lab on ground floor.

After that, we will be going to Jurong Point to buy ear sticks. I want to buy the colorful ones at Chamelon.

I just finished my Napha Test this morning: 8:00am to 12:00pm. It was a really tiring day and therefore I ate rice and drank Jelly grass drink. Hope I could at least get a Silver for Test.

Eventful days everyday...

Now i've been sequencing to update my blog once a week, as there is so much event dumped to me for planning. But i've already tried to pull out my spare time in school to update my blog. I really hope readers of my blog would not give up tagging.

Everyday is a busy day, I agree. Sometimes my events will even clash together at the same day! Yesterday, me and Aileen(OA) spend time in school to plan the HCA Hospice Care for OA's trip and their CIP programme. We plan the whole event in paper-work until around 18:30 and I brought the work home for typing, followed by sending it to my class advisor: Mrs Ang.

I send in my email to Mrs Ang at around 2230 and even text her about it. Eventually Mrs Ang replied my msg 1 hour later and I continued doing my project until 2 a.m. Not only that, I continued studying for POA test until 6a.m. I slept for another 30minutes and continue my morning routine and took MRT to school. But my over-night studying was totally wasted. Why? Mrs Ang postponed the test to next week. On the other hand, my night studying don't really work well as nothing-goes-thru-my-head at all. I really hope to pull out some spare time for studying soon.

Again coming 15 August 2009, there will be 2 flag days clashing together for me. 1 is from my CCA and the other, NYAA.

A day spend @ the Esplanade

Yesterday, 23 July 2009, thursday, my group members went to the Esplanade for video shooting. The people involved are: Me, Mastura, Xiu Ling, WenHui, Christina and Tan Ching.

Our group planning is to let Tan Ching become the interviewer of us. In my opinion, Tan Ching did a good job being an interviewer. As for me, i'm the videos and my group members find me good at doing that. And therefore I filmed almost the whole video except for my own.

Finally its my turn. This time round, Xiu Ling will be the one capturing me. I chose 'What I Like about Singapore' as my question.

It was a tiring day as we went straight to the esplanade after school by car. Mastura's mother provided this trip. Before we actually take the actual video, we also wasted quite some time capturing videos we don't like, but its deleted. We get really hungry and therefore proceeded to the nearest McDonalds for lunch. I ordered McSpicy Meal Upsize with drinks of Ice Latte. This whole meal raftly cost me $8.70. Right after we finish our lunch, we continued our shooting.
After capturing the video with Tan Ching's handphone, Tan Ching send her video to Xiu Ling for editing. Me and WenHui then took MRT to Jurong Point to purchase some stuff. By the way, I borrowed Mastura $10 and WenHui $7. Meanwhile after WenHui bought her stuff, I requested her to accompany me to POPULAR book store to buy CD-ROM as its a need to hand in the video to Mr Yuen.

After we finish buyer, we took bus no. 242 home. WenHui went home to study whereas I wait online for XiuLing to finish her edited video. Eventually at aroung mid-night 12:30a.m, she send in her work and i've also commented. Then I transfer it to the CD that i bought earlier which is finished at around 01:00a.m.

I woke up at 4:30a.m to study for my Principles of Office Administration(POA) before the test starts at 8:00a.m. But who knows, Mrs Ang have something instead and our test starts at 9:15a.m.

I'm indeed tired and right after school, I proceeded to Jurong Point McDonalds and wrote this post. Although the video is only 3 minutes, but we spent the more than 3 hours capturing. Below are some pictures I took around esplanade:

Can't upload my favourite music video

I actually tried to upload a favourite music video clip in my school inside SR4(Smart Room 4) but it saying: Fail to upload, retrying. Really makes me mad.

Well, maybe I shall try uploading it at my mini laptop at home and see what happens. If the same message happens again, i'll punch the computer.

'cool' everyday!

Well, being a Student Councilor is so cool after-all. Today when I am in in the lift in school with fren: Abi-ly, 2 guys also board the lift.

Those guys are making alot of noise when we're in the lift and even talked to us. But Abi-ly ignored them like she rilly didn't hear them. At that time, i'm the only person to speak. Once we've almost reached level 2, one malay guy say and on the mean time, pointed at my badge and tell the friend "Aye, student councilor leh". At that time, I feel so 'cool' when they mention this. But the malay guy's friend which is a chinese, asked 'the school got student councilors meh?'

I'm thinking: Didn't their teachers tell them that she's/he's gonna appoint a Student Councilor in their class? When I step out of the lift, the guys waved out of the lift door even though the door is closing and sais something like "Bye, see you again!" and then started to make crazy noises. Both Abi-ly and me laughed.

I do hope i'll have more spare time in blogging, but i could only managed to update recently.

New semester, new sunjects and new teachers.

Have been quite some time since i've updated my blog. Suddenly missed blogging. Finally the new semester have arrived. I've been looking for this new semester for very long and so excited about it. My GPA points are not really great for the past semester but is confident to score much better for this semester. Anyways, my GPA is only 2.3... But at least a pass i'll be satisfied.

Quite a lot of changes have been made since the new semester arrived. Like:

  • Change of subjects
  • Change of teachers
  • Change of class reps.(monitress)

My new subjects are:

  • Small Business Management (SBM)
  • Principles Of Administration (POA)
  • Business Etiquette & Groom (BEG)
  • & 1 more, but i haven get that book.

My favourite is SBM as there are 2 projects. One is proposal of business and the other is to sell it on the spot. As for class rep, it was changed to me. Which means, i'm holding 2 jobs. 1 is Student Councilor and the other, class rep.

For the 2nd project, i think I would need to borrow some cash flow from people as I'm saving to buy a new phone which was lost a month ago. Abi-ly and I decided to sell something and were now looking for suppliers.

Anyways, just noe my ex-classmate, Jocelyn from OE tell me a funny news. Her classmates thinks that OE was the last class of our course. And when they heard there is OF, they were shock and questions 'popped' out of their mouth like: "Huh? Got OF this class meh? I tot we OE is the last class?".

My friend Jocelyn can't stop laughing. But anyway, our class OF consist of people with a birthdate of November and December and I find it cool.

Now I can hardly update my blog but will definitely try my best to update as many as possible. I hope my readers will never give up reading my blog.

Going overseas soon...

It have been quite so time i've been updating my blog. I don't even have the time on my laptop. I worked hard everyday, smetimes I even worked overtime(OT). It was damn buzy when operating business time in McDonalds. Another news was, Value Lunch will be available until 3pm from some day later. Meaning the Value Lunch will be 12pm to 3pm instead of 12pm to 2pm. Now, isn't that a good news?

Another news was, i'll be be traveling overseas with my parents and sister. So if anyone want to keep in contact with me for 2 weeks, please don't message me, just email me. I'll definitely check my inbox even though i'm overseas.

I've got bad scar at both my knees as I accidentally fall when chasing after the bus after my CTR paper on 2nd June. I think many people saw me fall. Actually, it was quite embarassing to let people let people see you fall down. But I have to admit, the fall wasn't pain even though it bleeded alot. So if any of you want to keep in contact with me, just write in my blog or email me. I repeat: DON'T MESSAGE ME.

I hope the SCs will be able to see my message that i'll be traveling overseas as an reason for why i'll not be able to turn up for the meeting.

Fire Alarm!!!~

There is a fire alarm right after I updated my blog. I was listening to loud music and I didn't notice there is a fire alarm until one teacher knock on the self-access room and asked us to get out. Everyone in the college assembled at the car park for safety.

After this alarm exercise, it teaches me a lesson that I should't switch on too loud music as it risk our own lifes for a little mistake made. I hope no people will follow my example and beware of the alarm.

Gotcha~

I feel proud today because I've finally been able to wear the badge. I promise i'll never remove the Students' Council badge and wear it at all times. I'm also proud to recite the SC pledge yesterday at the Lecturer Theatre(LT), which prove to us that we are SC(s).

After the event, I went to Jurong Point by myself and even bought myself a MP3 and a memory stick(1 GB). But currently i'm using 525mb memory stick whick have already used half the memory to store 71 all-english songs. To me, english songs are way better than chinese songs. English songs are more creative whereas chinese songs are not.

Every week I serve the billboard website to see the top 50-100 English songs and download them. I find Japanese and Korean songs not bad too, I've also downloaded certain of them like:

  • Nobody - Wonder girls
  • Don Don't - Super Junior

The above songs are really creative to listen to. And if you need me to download any songs, just tag me in my chat box and i'll find for you. Also add me in msn: xiao_conica@hotmail.com

Red Rain concert~

On sunday, 24 May 2009, I went for the Red Rain concert at Heart Of God Church located at opposite Payar Lebar MRT. I even brought my girlfriend - Abi-ly, while she brought her friend - Rain, to the concert.

The dressing code for the concert is either Red or black. Therefore, I wear black sleeveless top and a dark blue jeans along with a black sports shoe. We decided to proceed to the church instead of waiting for Terence as its very hot at the bus-stop. I waited at the entrance of the 12th floor church for anyone who know me to lead us to church.

After a couple of minutes, Jacky called up to me and inroduced me his cousin - Jonathan(I think) & his younger brother - Jeremy to me. After that, Jacky lead us three inside the seating area which is cool enough for us to sit in.

According to Abi-ly and Rain, they think that the concert is quite crazy. Maybe because they see them singing along, jumping up and down and have their hands held high. During the concert, the music is loud and rox all the way.

At around 16:30p.m, Abi-ly decided to go for lunch as she haven taken her meals. I decided to accompany her along with Rain to McDonalds for lunch. She ordered Fillet-O-Fish Meal and a coke for drink. Right after she finished her meal, I send them both the MRT Station as they wanted to go to town.

After that, I went back back near the church. Acually, in truth to tell, I find it quite boring. I do hope to hang around town and walk around. I hope that there's one day we can go town together so as to know more about each other. I also didn't manage to snap down the photos of Red Rain.

I do hope to look forward to a kinda outing in towns like Jurong Point, or maybe visit to the library.

Self Access today...

Today I come as early as 9:45a.m to serve the web in the college's self access lab. Its rather a 'nothing-goes-out-there' day as it was really bored at home, even in school.

During break, I occupied a rectangular table which can occupy up to 4 persons. Next to me was a similar table but an empty one. After a while, I caught my sister from not far from of my seat and immediately place my bag next to the empty table. I quickly signal to her and her friends to join me. I even threatened my sister to treat me.

My sister brought me a Pepper Chicken Pau and a Grass Jelly Drink for lunch break. I am really grateful to her as I did not really treat her as good as she treated me. But whenever I'm not too broke, i'll treat her back the same as she treat me.

After I finish my drink and the pau, Abi-ly and I proceed to the office to book the computers at the self access room. We eventually arrive at the 3rd floor using the lift. That is how I updated my blog today.

I'm looking forward to a better and eventful day as I felt there's nothing for me to write on... Just a few nonscence stuff then I did in school today.

Bored day...

Today our class OF ended our class at 14:00p.m due to cancellation of Sports and Wellness lesson. Actually, i'll prefer to have the sports & wellness because its part of my NYAA participation. And of course, I want SW not for NYAA but for health.

Since our SW teacher: Mr Eric Low cancelled the SW lesson, i've decided to go to Jurong Point to window-shopping. And maybe buy things too!

Yesterday, right after I left my seat at the OSA lab, i've forgotten to take out my thumbdrive. But thanks to a girl in OB, she followed me right behind and returned my thumbdrive. To the girl whom I mean was you: Thank you very much for returning my thumbdrive and I apologise deeply for treating you rude last time. You're a good person and I won't treat you rude again. Thank you so much!

I actually wanted to say thanks to you just now. But you were on the phone outside the lab. But when you saw me and A-bily, you turned away. I do not mean any harm but just wanted to thank you alot. A-bily is my friend, therefore I will always speak-up for her. She's a shy girl indeed, and she'll only talk when she wants to. So please don't misunderstand her as a ignorant girl.

I hope problems between all of you and us will be disolved. I deeply apologise for the mistake I make.

I removed my cbox for certain reasons...

I've just removed my cbox because a bunch of people keep on disturbing my blog. PEOPLE WHO SEE THIS PLEASE GET-OUT OF MY BLOG AND YOU KNOW I MEANT YOU!!!

A visit to Heart of God Church on saturday - 16 May 2009

On Saturday, I left my house at 8:30p.m. Firstly, I went to my best friend's house which we promised to meet at 11:00a.m sharp. I went there early, but left at 12:30p.m to go to the Boon Lay Interchange to take bus no.154 to Heart of God Church to meet my friend Terence at the bus-stop at 14:30p.m.

The bus ride takes around 1 - 2 hours to reach the church as this church is located opposite Payar Lebar MRT. Finally I reached the destinied bus-stop, and eventually drop off there. It was around 14:20p.m when I reach there.

Terence meet me at exactly 14:32p.m, according to my phone time, and he brought me up to the church which, to my first impression, very electrifiying.

I made many new friends the moment I stepped inside the church. Some guys actually introduced themselves and asked for my name. Whereas Terence keep telling them that I'm from ITE College West (Clementi Campus). Around a couple of guys asked me whether I've eaten my lunch which I said no. After that, Terence decided to got to McDonalds to eat Strawberry Sundae. Right after that, around 4 - 5 guys came to meet up with Terence, a few more intorduced themselves to me.

A guy named Jackie asked me whether I've eaten and also asked me to self-intro myself by asking me some of my particulars. He insisted in treating me McDonalds which I keep waving my hands meaning 'no'. But he did treated me Fillet-O-Fish meal upsized which gives a free contour cup - pink.

I was especially grateful to him as I'm quite broke after I contributed my money to certain school stuff. With athat, he also took out a 'dunno-wad-card' to redeem a free dessert - Hot Fudge Sundae.

I'm supposed to leave the place at 17:30 latest. Therefore I told Terence that I can't stay longer than 17:30p.m. He said its okay so I settled to look at the concert until it was 17:30p.m. When its 17:30p.m, I told Terence I've gotta go but he keep demanding me not to go. I feel that I need to respect that so I stayed all the wau until almost 19:00p.m.

I keep looking at my phone's timing and finally, I've got no choice but to tell Jackie, who was seated next to me that I've gotta go. He tell me to wait for the apporopriate timing and we go. He sent me all the way to the traffic light and we waved goodbye.

To my shock, I tried to went to the opposite to take bus, but there's no bus-stop to no matter how far I walked!!! Therefore, I asked a passer-by for directions to the bus-stop. She said she don't know but paid me $4 to take MRT as it is late at night. I thank her with all my heart and rushed to buy the standard ticket.

It was a memorable day as I'm looking forward for the Redrain concert that will be held right here in Heart of God Church!

Make lots of frens nowadays

Nowadays, I've been meeting up with many different people. Tomorrow i'll be meeting up with my ex-bf at Payar Lebar along with his many ITE friends that he wanted to introduce me.

According to Terence, we'll be watching a concert next Saturday. Though I don't understand Church service or bible studies, but i'm willing to learn more about it.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's event. Which i'll be updating it in here very soon.

Meet-up with friends

Today during my break time at 12:00p.m., my galfwen suggested to me that we shall meet up with her boyfren: KinNey and some of her friends. I manged to make quite alot of friends. The new friends are namely: KinNey, Abas, Yanto and a indian guy. I've forgotten his name as I didn't managed to listen properly. But according to A-bi-ly, they're used to calling him 'Ah Neh', so thats okay.

After everyone arrive outside the Clementi MRT Station, we went to school with lots of people staring at us(6 people in exact). We even went to the 2nd level of block 2 and brought drinks in the canteen. After a while, we took a lift down to the 1st level and noticed that we are late for class. Therefore, we decided to place our bags in the lab to take our attendence.

Whats to me and A-bi-ly's shock was, when the lift door open, there stood Mrs Tay, our OSA teacher! Both our mouth fell open when we saw her. She told us that we're late, so we immediately went to put our bags.

After we place our bags, we sneak out to send those 4 guys out of the college. But we promised to meet at 3, in the MRT Station for going to town.

When we returned to the class, Mrs Tay was not very furious that we sneaked out of the class without her permission. We took our revision papers and started doing our work. As time flew by, Mrs Tay greeted the whole class good-bye and waved our classmated good-bye.

A-bi-ly and I took bus no. 106 to the MRT Station to wait for them. When we were in the bus, KinNey, A-bi-ly's bf called to inform her that they may be late. So we waited for another 15-20mins.

In the end, the 'Ah neh' and Abas decided not to go to town so A-bi-ly, KinNey and Yanto and me decided to proceed to take bus 106 to Shaw Centre. We arrive at around 16:30p.m. and stopped for lunch at KFC. A-bi-ly borrowed her bf's handphone to secretly snapshot on both me and Yanto sitting next to each other.

After a while, we go window-shopping for many areas. And I've got to rush home at 6pm so I waved goodbye. A-bi-ly will be sending me the pictures that she snap very soon. So whenever I receive it from her, I'll upload it in here. So, do check-out my blog often!

So many good frenz in the world!

I look around the school and I find myself fourtunate: For having so many kind-hearted frens. I'm not trying to say that I'm so proud to have so many frens and trying to show-off. What I mean was those frens, that I know, was all friendly.

Lets say for example:
I walked pass a friend of mine which I know(new frend), they wouldn't just walk pass me without saying anything. They will suddenly say 'Hi Adeline!' even though sometimes I did not notice where they are.

I guess I should count myself fortunate for not having ignorant friends. Therefore, I should also not take advantage of this for a priviledge and treasure friendship always.

A visit to nursing homes 27 April 2009

I would like to share my visit to a nursing home for all readers of my blog. This trip wad scheaduled at 27 April 2009 at 14:00pm to around 16:00pm. Though it was a short trip, but an meaningful one.

After we reach outside the nursing home, we need to measure our temperature one by one in case any of us spread swine flu. None of us did, therefore, we entered the nursing home. During our time of visits, we sang Dang Wo Men Tong Zai Yi Qi, which means When we goe together, Yue liang dai biao wo de xin and quite a few of the traditional songs.

I manage to snap a few pictures with the elderlies but did not have to time to upload it here. At the end of the event, I actually spoon-feed an elderly due to her lack of strength in eating. My form teacher was also snapping pictures of me spoon-feeding the auntie as she feels touched by it.

I did not manage to finish spoon-feeding the soup to the untie but I feel relieved as she said she can drink the soup herself. I was unwilling to go off but I knew it was the time to get back to school. I feel sad and waved all the lovely aunties goodbye.

I do hope one day I can visit that nursing home again, and definitely not just 2 hours!

I've finally managed to upload my pictures to my computer. Whats shown below is taken by myself. But its a little blur, therefore, I hope you guys don't mind.

Today is a totally bored day. I dunno why I feel so down today. Nobody discouraged me, and i'm not attached currently. Its just a feeling that i'm down today. But it'll be over very soon.

Today I skipped my breadfast and lunch again. Now i'm wondering whether to eat or not for dinner. I skipped meals almost everyday but not all. I feel so hungry yet I dunno what to grab for dinner. Any ideas?

Distracting people in my course but different classes...

I hate to mention but, I have to say, I've already had enuf of all these kind of people distracting me using vulgar languages. By telling this, I have to recall back by flashing back at one incident that had happened since i've known Tan C.

We were reaching the computer labs early, therefore we went in early to serve the web. Tan C. used to be the 'B' class' friend. She wanted to joke around by hiding one of the 'B' class' guy's thumbdrive in her pocket and later returning as that guy forget to remove his thumbdrive.

Later, that guy came to claim back his thumbdrive but were nowhere to be found. He then questioned a few of us at around his seat area if anyone have seen his thumbdrive. Everyone's remarks were united, which is: No. After a moment, he suspected that it is my friend Tan C. who took it. Though she insisted a no, but from her face I can tell that she's joking. So, the 'B' class' say that she 'steal' that guy's thumbdrive.

After at around 7 minutes, Tan C. returned the thumbdrive to the guy. But instead of the guy scolding us after school, its his 'Girl' friends who came in to confront on us. I helped Tan C. by supporting her whereby the guy's 'girl'friends help him by supporting him. One of that girl's remark was: "If she didn't steal, why would you have to speak up for her?" I was thinking: If that guy want a apology, why must he ask help and support from so many Ah-liens?

From the girl's scolding and negative remarks, Tan C. cried badly. Due to her sadness, she didn't apologise for her joke on the thumbdrive. After she went home, I call her to ask her wherther she's ok.

The very next day, those bunch of 'Bs' started to call us wierd names. Thats why we hate them so much. Can anyone do anything about this matter? I think I should inform the teacher if they cal us this type of name again.

Can't belive that i'm actually so weak...

Today, as usual, I went to work at JSCC McDonalds from 9:00am till 16:30pm. Its a damn boring day but I didn't manage to finish work at 16:30pm. Thats because I actually fainted.

After I regained my conciousness, I'm actually quite shock to see myself in the crew room! I tried to recal back and remembered that I actually wanted to say that I could not meet the working schedule on 16 May 2009 as there are things going on. But before I say, the world just blankout.

I didn't take my manager's advice to see a doctor as its quite expensive to do so. And my pay wasn't much at all. Therefore, I will not waste it on my own health but other precious things.

After counting this on, this is the 5th time I fainted.

Horny 'Ah Pek' in bus!

Today I started school at 8:00am. Therefore, I must at least be at the bus-stop at around 6:30am or latest 6:40am. I waited patiently for my bus no. 99 to arrive.

A bus eventually arrive at the right timing. I'm sitting below instead of upstairs due to human capacity. At the back of the bus, there's actually seats facing each other where I seated. But I can't help noticing an old man - 'Ah Pek' keeeeep on staring at me the minute I was seated. The 'Ah Pek' was seated at the opposite of my seat.

In my brain, I keep thinking: Relax, Adeline, calm down. Maybe he's just used to staring at something. I'm just one. (In a sarcastic way)

After a while, I noticed that the 'Ah Pek's eyeballs are actually aiming at my skirt!!! I was about to stand up and planned to aim my fist on his right eye. But then unfortunately...

A guy, around 18 to 21 years of age, stood up and confronted him using hokkien words. Though I'm a cantonese, but I can speak hokkien well too. He said: ''see what see?Why you keep on looking at her legs? You want me call police? I've been watching you for so long!"

Under embarassment, the 'Ah Pek' drop off to the nearest bus-stop in a hurry. I thanked the guy with not-all-of-my-heart as i'm also quite embarassed by it. I do hope this guy make the 'Ah Pek' learn a lesson he'll never forget.

Disinterested in work at times

Today is a totally boring day in school. I do notice that more and more people in the class are not interested in the lessons including my close friend Tan C.

With that, I was left sms-ing non-stop to my fellow classmates who didn't turn up for school as I was recently recruited as the new cluster leader of Chinese Gals. I also tend to waste more prepaid recently and do have trouble top-ing up sometimes. I do hope I will be able to find a better job someday...

Nonetheless, I will give up my studies so easily and education, to me, is very precious. I'm able to cope with studies, Student Council, NYAA Events, CCA, work, etc. I will never stress them up together but will carefully seperate them.

Always sad but acted HappY....

I've always encountered problems in every single day... Never once would I have my own freedom.... Sometimes, I just can't tolerate and I wanted to hide somewhere...somewhere where no people watch me cry...But, I just can't give in, and I've had enough for that. I've had enough of problems like:

  • Family problems
  • Friends
  • Events

I'll briefly explain for the above points:

Family problems

My family, have a total of 4 members. Which consist of: My mum, Dad, sister and me. My mum is a housewife which i believed she did nothing at home except for watching TV or going shopping to malls like Jurong Point, IMM, Bugis Junction, Boon Lay Shopping Centre and Gek Poh.

She loves spending, and I don't even know if anyone believe me if I said she didn't give me a single cent for allowance. I myself works in Jurong Spring Community Centre McDonalds, which is located near Jurong West Blk 500+ Market. My pay is currently $3.66/hr which I don't think is much(I mean my pay). During the collection of my 'N' levels, she actually objected me to further my studies even though I only ask to go for ITE instead of proceeding to Secondary 5(which I could!). I actually quarreled with her and the majority of the neighbours who've been staying around me for the past 2 - 3 years came to knock on our door! They actually settled my problems of further-ing my studies by talking to her.

My mum actually promised to pay my school fees for the sake of my studies...Which is actually good enough to me. The rest, which is uniform, books, class fund, allowance in school, prepaid card, I will have to find my own ways in paying. Sometimes I do have problems paying many things at once! And I don't know what to do...I do hope there's a way out of this mess...

Friends

I have a best friend still pursueing Secondary 5. Below is a number picture of us:

Above are the best shots of us. She have longer hair and bigger eyes, which I quite admire it. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, and I think she's quite upset now. But she shares all her problems with me and we face it together.

The other close friend of mine study as the same college as me. She's my classmate too. But unfortunately, I do not have her photo. If not, i'll sure post it in here. But she tends to lose her heart in study and doesn't know her limits to be lazy as exams are around the corner. I've slowly tried to warn her seriously but she didn't take my advice. What should I do? Its just hopeless. I hope when she see my blog she'll understand what I mean and won't envy me.

Events

I've joined quite a number of events which I first thought I won't be chosen. But in the end, all turn up to clash together. Events I joined are namely:

  • Students' Council
  • Asian Youth Games volunteery
  • National Youth Achivement Award (NYAA)
  • Interactive Club
  • Working as crew

With these events, it all clash together each day. Sometimes my manager even put me late in the night to work. I get totally pissed-off by them.
